US gov’t commits US$34 million to Jamaica

The United States Government will be increasing its investment in Jamaica with some US$34 million committed to violence reduction, combatting human trafficking, cybersecurity, energy security, and initiatives to boost the economy.

MOF signs double taxation agreement with UAE

Finance Minister Dr Nigel Clarke, and Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Jamaica, Bader Abdullah Saeed Almatrooshi, signed a Double Taxation Agreement (DTA) for the avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
