Jamaican international artiste, Shenseea, took to the stage in the final hour of Dream WKND to deliver an interactive, highly energetic performance.
The ‘Shenyeng Anthem’ singer engaged with Dreamers, inviting her supporters on stage to perform her song ‘Good Comfort’. The patrons were highly receptive to her performance, helping her belt out hits after hits.
According to PJ Wright, Promoter of Daydreams, “This has been Daydream’s largest turnout. It is one of our flagship events that both locals and foreigners always anticipate. The fact that it's held on an open beach where patrons can dip their feet in the water is a major plus. Having Shenseea perform only amplified the event as she partied with patrons during her highly interactive performance.”
Despite the unexpected downpour of rain, patrons were visibly thrilled to be at the most anticipated party weekend of the summer. Quickly filling up the white, sandy venue, patrons donned their all-white ensembles, as they stayed true to the day’s theme.
Dreamer, Bubbles Francis from South Florida, was enchanted by Shenseea’s performance.
“Daydreams was really nice. The highlight of the event was seeing Shenseea. Her performance was amazing, it's almost as if she put you in a trance, and I absolutely love how she engaged with the audience” explains Francis.
Patrons were treated to a wide genre of musical selections including, Soca, Dancehall and Rap, by DJs Crazy Neil, Noah Powa and Polish and Chromatic, to which patrons danced and sang along. The weekend continues with YUSH on Saturday night and Wet N Wild on Sunday.
