KINGSTON, Jamaica - Protoje and the Indiggnation band have announced dates for the reggae singer's upcoming events in California.
The Sweet Jamaica singer is set to embark on a tour that will snake through the US state with his first stop expected to be the Cornerstone Berkeley next Tuesday. The tour is scheduled to wrap up at the Music Box in San Diego on August 27.
"Touring through California & Europe over the next couple months with @theindiggnation. Looking forward to seeing you all out there. What city will we see you?," he wrote in a post on Instagram, where he noted that he has been touring California for the past 10 years.
Following his California run, Protoje will head off to Europe for several dates in October.
Protoje's latest album Third Time's The Charm was nominated for a Grammy at this year's staging of the prestigious awards. The album was released via In.Digg.Nation Collective in partnership with RCA Records on September 23, 2022, and is Protoje’s sixth studio album. It completes the entertainer's trilogy of albums that began with his Grammy-nominated A Matter Of Time and In Search Of Lost Time.
A Matter Of Time debuted at No 1 on the Reggae Albums chart and spent six weeks there while In Search Of Lost Time spent one week at No 6.
The 41-year-old’s other Billboard charting albums are Ancient Future (2015), which spent 17 weeks on the Reggae Albums chart, peaking at No 1, and The 8 Year Affair (2013), which spent two weeks on the Reggae chart, peaking at No 5.
