LOTTO WINNER CLAIMS HIS HALF OF $37M JACKPOT

Third time’s the charm for one Kingston man who saw the winning Lotto numbers in a dream this year.

“I dream these numbers a few weeks now and this is the third time I buy them and I win,” said the latest Lotto millionaire who is the first of two winners to claim his share of the $37 million Lotto jackpot. Both players hit the jackpot with the winning numbers 03 08 10 13 21 35 earlier this month.

This is the first time in years that the Lotto jackpot is being shared. Each player will take home $18.5 million.

Despite having to share the jackpot, the winner expressed his excitement at winning and becoming an overnight millionaire. “ I don’t feel any way to share the jackpot! I’m happy for this money. I can use it to put a roof over my head. That’s something I always wanted to do and with this money, I can make it happen!” he said excitedly.

Danielle Douglas, VP Lotteries and Transactions at Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) speaking at the official handover of the funds expressed her joy at helping yet another Jamaican realise their dreams through SVL’s games. “We are always excited to see our players win big. Every handover presentation is one of those moments that make our work truly rewarding,” she said. “We wish him all the best as he seeks to make a lifelong dream come true with his Lotto winnings.”

SVL still awaits the second winner to come forward to claim their half of the $37 million jackpot. That winning ticket was bought at Standard Auto Supplies located on Windward Road.

To begin the process of collecting their jackpot, the winner must present the winning ticket with their signature affixed and valid national ID at the Supreme Ventures Flagship Store located on the Twin Gates Plaza at 25 Constant Spring Road in St. Andrew within ninety days from the draw date.
