Century 21 is proud to announce its sponsorship donation to rising star Samir Azan, who will be competing in the prestigious Carifta Triathlon & Aquathlon Championships in Barbados August 17-18, 2024.
This sponsorship underscores Century 21’s commitment to supporting young athletes and promoting excellence in sports within our community.
"We are absolutely thrilled to support and sponsor Samir Azan in his journey to the Carifta Triathlon & Aquathlon Championships in Barbados. At Century 21, we believe in nurturing potential and providing opportunities for young talents to shine on the international stage. We look forward to seeing Samir achieve great success and inspire others with his dedication and passion,” expressed Collet Kirkcaldy, General Manager, Century 21.
Samir Azan, a promising young talent, has consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance in athletics. His contest includes a 400m swim in open water, then transitions to a 10k bike ride, and finishes with a 2.5k run. At just 13 years old, Samir is the one to watch in his age group (13-15). This is his second time participating in the Carifta Championships, having first represented in the 2022 aquathlon in Bermuda.
By investing in athletes like Samir, Century 21 aims to encourage young individuals to pursue their dreams and excel in their chosen fields.
“We want to thank Century 21 for coming on board to sponsor one of our athletes. It is not a traditional sport so getting a sponsor is a big thing for us. We are looking for great things from Samir. He is a dedicated athlete, and we are really hoping to bring home a medal,” stated Natasha Cameron Jamaica Triathlon Association Coach & Secretary General.
The Carifta Championships have a long history of fostering young talent and providing a stepping stone for athletes to advance to higher levels of competition. As Samir prepares for this significant event, Century 21 encourages the community to rally behind him and show their support. Together, we can inspire and uplift our young athletes, driving them towards success and excellence.
