True to its name, Daydreams delivered an utterly dreamlike experience at the second event of Dream Wknd.
On Saturday evening, Long Bay Beach was transformed into a sea of white, with partygoers dressed in their finest whites, enjoying the expansive beach where they could even take a refreshing dip.
DJ Dutty Dex kicked off the festivities, setting the tone with an energetic mix that had everyone singing and dancing. As the night progressed, Crazy Neil, Coppershot, Mac & Baba, and Marko Dean each took their turn behind the decks, showcasing their unique styles and spinning an array of hits that thrilled the crowd. To the patrons' delight, the DJs dubbed the weekend a "gaza weekend," spinning classic tracks from "Di Teacha" and ensuring an unforgettable night.
“Each year we witness Daydreams growing larger and larger. That is a testament to the quality of the event, and is always one of our most anticipated events. So far, the weekend has been wonderful and I’m really looking forward to seeing our Dreamers experience the rest of the magic we have in store for them,” expressed Ron Burke, Dream Wknd Festival Director.
In an unexpected twist, rising dancehall star Armanii made a surprise appearance, igniting the crowd with enthusiastic cheers. Though his set was brief, he energized the audience with hits like ‘How You Feel’, ‘Haad’, and ‘Wild & Wikid’, creating a powerful sing-along moment with the crowd acting as his backup choir.
In the end, Daydreams lived up to all expectations, delivering yet another seamless and unforgettable experience.
