$236.5M Super Lotto Winner Fulfills University Promise to Children

Supreme Ventures Limited is welcoming its newest Super millionaire as a lucky Jamaican has claimed the Super Lotto jackpot of $236.5 million.

The winner, dressed in a ninja turtle costume, collected the life-changing sum at a special presentation ceremony recently.

Reflecting on his jackpot win, the winner said that he has been buying Super Lotto diligently for years, always confident that one day he would win. “Since 2019 I haven’t missed draw. I buy my tickets weekly and always make sure that one of them is a Quick Pick ticket. I knew that one day I would win and I always told my children that when I win I will give them the money to go school. Now that I win, I’m giving them the money just like I said.”

He is now able to deliver on that promise.

This marks the third Super Lotto win of the year and the second from Jamaica, further solidifying the Caribbean nation's impressive winning streak. In 2023, Jamaica saw three Super Lotto jackpot hits, with those winners collectively claiming over J$1 billion (US$6.2 million) in winnings.

Stefan Miller, Senior Vice President of Product Management & Business Development at Supreme Ventures Limited, expressed his excitement: "We are overjoyed to present this massive jackpot to our newest Super Lotto winner. At Supreme Ventures, we're in the business of making dreams come true and positively impacting communities. This win not only changes his life but also his children's, family's, and community's lives. We are very heartened when our winners use their newfound wealth to transform not only their lives but the lives of their loved ones."
