Following the successful opening of its multi-product manufacturing facility earlier in the year, Berger Paints Jamaica is positioning itself to showcase its Trowel-On application demonstration that was featured at the plant opening and the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association (JMEA) Expo, on the road across the length and breadth of Jamaica.
This nationwide tour will bring Berger’s innovative textured finish to professionals and consumers alike, giving Jamaicans the opportunity to experience firsthand the versatility, durability, and aesthetic appeal of Berger’s Trowel-On coatings. This showcase will also provide in-depth knowledge of how to properly apply the product, for the DIY-ers.
“We were blown away by the response to the Trowel-On demo that we did at the plant opening and at the JMEA Expo,” said Dwaine Williams, General Manager at Berger Paints Jamaica Ltd. “Contractors, decorators, and homeowners were eager to see how easy and transformative this product is. Taking the demo on the road allows us to connect with more Jamaicans and show how Berger continues to innovate in decorative finishes.”
The Trowel-On Demo Roadshow includes:
- Live product demonstrations
- Hands-on training sessions for contractors and applicators
- On-site expert consultations
- Special promotions and giveaways
The roadshow will include stops at key locations across the island, which began on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Mandeville, with two hardware stores: Impact Trading and Pro Hardware Discount Outlet.
“We’re bringing this directly to the people. Following our initial stops in Mandeville, we’ll be heading to Westmoreland and St. Thomas at the Paint Up and Wilson Chung Hardwares on the 26th and 28th of August,” added Williams. “This is more than a product demo, it’s an opportunity to support skills development, inspire creativity, and show Jamaicans how to achieve beautiful, long-lasting finishes with Berger.”
Managing Director of Impact Industrial, John Groves, welcomes this opportunity to be a part of the roadshow, and to educate the populace about the benefits of trowel-on.
“We are happy to be the first stop in this roadshow series, as we are one of the largest distributors of Berger Paints products. The Berger Trowel-On products are a great fit for our customers here in Manchester given the type of climate we have here, but not only that, it’s a great fit for all Jamaicans. We’ve seen a great deal of positive response from our customers regarding this product, and I foresee this positivity growing as people become more aware and acquainted with the product,” says Groves.
This initiative aligns with Berger Paints Jamaica’s ongoing mission to provide cutting-edge solutions while supporting the development of Jamaica’s construction and design industries.
