Jamaica's monkeypox cases now at 18

Jamaica has recorded a total 18 monkeypox cases as at Sunday, November 20.
Sixteen cases are locally transmitted and two imported.
 
The Ministry of Health says 14 patients have recovered while two cases remain active. One death is still under investigation.
 
Kingston and St. Andrew accounts for the largest number of cases recorded, with 10; followed by two each in Clarendon, St. Elizabeth and St. James.
 
Manchester and St. Catherine have recorded one case each.
 
Symptoms of monkeypox include fever, chills, intense headaches, extreme exhaustion and a rash which usually appears one to three days after the fever.
