Tributes continue to pour in for Dancehall entertainer Aidonia and his wife Kimberly Megan as news broke on Saturday evening that their nine-year-old son, King Khalif Lawrence had died.
It’s understood he had been ailing for some time.
The entertainment industry has been shocked and deeply distressed by the news.
Many have taken to social media to publicly show their support to the family.
Reggae and Dancehall legend Shaggy shared in an Instagram post: “My condolences to @aidonia4thgenna and his wife Kimberly’. … who lost their only child Khalif earlier today …my heart aches for their loss… it’s unimaginable the loss of a child. Sending prayers!”
Spice, who has been very silent on social media showed her support in a post stating ” Broken hearted, I’m lost for words. My condolences, please keep Aidona and Kimberly Megan in your prayers, pray for their strength because there is nothing that will heal this pain. Sleep in paradise young King.”
Among those who have spoken out are: Beenie Man, Shenseea, Skatta Burrell, Khadine “Miss Kitty” Hylton and I-Octane among others.
Opposition Leader and President of the People’s National Party, Mark Golding, also joined those extending condolences and prayers for the family during this difficult time.
