A Clarendon man who opened fire on two women in a house, killing one, will face the court to answer to charges stemming from breaches of the Offences Against the Person Act and the Firearms Act.
Charged are 22-year-old Khamali Dennis otherwise called 'Lala', unemployed of Gayle district in Clarendon. The police said Dennis was implicated in the Monday, November 30, 2017 murder of 29-year-old Jodian Harvey otherwise called 'Shasha' and the shooting injury of another girl, both of Gayle district.
Reports are that about 10:20 pm, the two females were at home when men kicked open the door to their house and opened gunfire at them. Harvey was pronounced dead after the incident. The police said Dennis was brought to the police station by his attorney on Saturday, November 2.
Dennis is charged with murder, wounding with intent and illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
