Aperson of interest has been taken into custody in connection with the brazen daylight attack on Monday at the Portmore Pines Plaza in St Catherine which left a security guard dead.

The gunmen absconded with almost $10 million in cash. Two other guards were injured during the incident.

The suspect was reportedly captured on Thursday afternoon in Hellshire, St Catherine during a police operation.

He was reportedly found with a firearm and ammunition.

The police believe that the man has information that may be able to assist with their investigations.
