The Drug Serv Pharmacy at the Bustamante Hospital for Children (BHC) managed by the National Health Fund (NHF) is now ISO 9001:2015 certified, following a successful surveillance and scope expansion audit by the National Certification Body of Jamaica (NCBJ).
The National Health Fund opened its EduCare Grant Programme for the 2023/2024 period, on June 21, 2023.
As the island experiences increased rainfall, the Ministry of Health & Wellness is reminding members of the public to expect an increase in the breeding of mosquitoes, especially those that carry diseases such as the Aedes aegypti mosquito, carriers of the dengue virus.
