"We’re devasted to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away. We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family and friends.

32 year-old Bowie with 10.78secs done in Eugene 2016, is the joint 17 fastest woman of all time and joint 7th fastest American over the blue ribband event.

Bowie amassed a set of Olympic medals at the Rio Games in 2016 - gold in the 4x100, silver in the 100m and bronze in the 200m behind Jamaica's Elaine Thompson-Herah who secured gold in thesprint t double.

The American also won two gold at the world championships in London 2017 in the 100m and sprint relay to go with a 100m bronze from the 2015 Beijing World Championships.
