The Summit begins on Thursday in Toronto.

Minister of Industry and Commerce Audley Shaw and Director of the Cannabis Licensing Authority Delano Sievright are among the guest speakers.

They will also examine investment opportunities for the cannabis trade in the region.

The summit comes a week after the US Congressional Judiciary Committee approved a landmark bill that will decriminalise and tax ganja on the federal level, representing another step in global cannabis liberalisation efforts.
