Covid-19 cases climb to 43,890

Jamaica confirmed 206 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday, taking total infections since the start of the pandemic to 43,890. 
There were also two new deaths; a 65-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, both from the Corporate Area.
 
With their passing, the total deaths from covid-19 now stand at 723.
 
All parishes recorded new cases on Saturday, with the Corporate Area (Kingston & St. Catherine) having 66, followed by St. Catherine with 30 and St. Elizabeth, 26. 
 
There are 323 patients in hospital; 35 of them are said to be in critical condition.
