The Federation, in its statement, said it cannot be business as usual when criminals have blatant disregard for the sanctity of life and the rule of law.
The group has vowed to stand with its members and the law-abiding citizens of Jamaica in the fight against criminals who believe they are above the law and are supported by some citizens who it claims glorify criminality.
The Federation expressed condolence to the family of Constable Martin, a probationary constable who it said was ready for a lifetime of service to the people of Jamaica.
Constable Martin was shot and killed Saturday evening while attending a wake in Frog City, Maxfield Park, St Andrew.
The police reported that sometime after 11:00 p.m., heavily armed men invaded the wake and opened fire.
Those shot were rushed to hospital where Constable Martin was pronounced dead.
