America-based worldwide clothing and accessories retailer, Gap, has announced that it is removing products made in collaboration with [Kanye West] Ye’s Yeezy brand from its stores and website, following the rapper’s recent anti-semitic comments.

According to Forbes, Gap stated that it is taking immediate steps to remove Yeezy Gap products from its stores and has shut down YeezyGap.com. In addition, Gap had announced the ending of the Yeezy Gap partnership in September.

Ye made several anti-semitic outbursts in interviews and social media, which included a Twitter post stating that he would go “death con three on Jewish people.”

Subsequently, the brand said that any form of anti-semitism, racism and hate are inexcusable and will not be tolerated in accordance with their values.

Gap also indicated that it has been partnering with organisations to combat hate and discrimination.

Gap’s announcement follows Adidas, who partnered with the rapper on Yeezy sneakers, that it is immediately ending its partnership with Ye.
