The case against murder accused Constable Noel Maitland has been pushed back to June 12 due to a number of outstanding statements.

Maitland appeared in the Supreme Court on Thursday to answer to charges relating to the disappearance of his girlfriend, Donnalee Donaldson.

The court was told by the prosecution that four statements were outstanding, as well as material from the Communication Forensic CyberCrime Division (CFCD).

Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions Jeremy Taylor, assured presiding judge Justice Vinnette Graham Allen that prosecutors "hope to get the statements by the end of April." The court was also told that they had received "certain documents" on Wednesday that were disclosed to the defence team.

Additionally, one of Maitland's attorneys, Chadwick Berry said the defence was only provided with transcripts of the audio file the prosecution said implicated Maitland, and not the audio.

This, Taylor assured, will be disclosed as well.

Berry also requested a renewed bail application for his client on the next court date due to concerns expressed by Maitland. This request was approved by the judge.
