Bolt receives Billboard plaque for album Country Yutes

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Retired Jamaican track and field legend Usain Bolt is celebrating success in another field – music.

Bolt, who is now a music producer, recently received a plaque for hitting the Billboard Reggae Albums chart with his Country Yutes album which debuted at number six on the chart in September 2021.

On Saturday, he posted a photo of himself with the plaque, with the caption: “Thanks to all my Fans who have supported me in everything I do. Just know I don’t take these moments for granted. #CountryYutes.”

The post has already received tens of thousands of likes, with many people sending congratulatory messages to the sprint icon.

Bolt, an eight-time Olympic champion, has recently endured some amount of distress with the theft of millions of US dollars from an account he owned at fraud-hit investment company Stocks and Securities Limited.

He is one of more than 40 clients who have been affected by the fraud case that is estimated to top $3 billion.
