Jamaica to begin issuing e-passports to the public

On Friday, March 31, 2023, the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) is to go live with a new high-security electronic or e-passport document to members of the public.

A Jamaican man residing in the United States, who sexually abused two of his foster children over a two-year period, has been ordered to serve 50 years in prison.
