The Privy Council has denied dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel’s request for fresh evidence to be presented in the appeal of his murder conviction.

Water lock-offs in Kingston, St Andrew begin today

The National Water Commission (NWC) has announced that it will begin regulating water supply to sections of Kingston and St Andrew as of today as drought conditions continue to impact inflows to a number of surface water sources.

A16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm following an incident at a high school in Kingston West on Wednesday, February 15.

No bail for UWI student in abuse case

Jamaican, Marlon Hill, has been named Partner of the prestigious law firm, Weiss Serota Helfman Cole + Bierman (WSHC+B). The appointment took effect on January 1, 2023.
