No new taxes for another budget cycle, says Clarke

For an eighth consecutive budget, the Jamaican Government has not imposed any new taxes on the populace.

Popular blogger shot dead in St Catherine

The Spanish Town police have confirmed the murder of popular local blogger Nigel Anthony Walford, also known as ‘Big Meech’, in an early-afternoon shooting incident on Friday in St Catherine.

The Government could declare certain orders restricting the use of water by citizens should the drought conditions worsen locally.
