Holness justifies calling of by election

Prime Minister Holness is justifying his decision to call a by-election in South East Clarendon.

Taffic cop mowed down by taxi driver

The Police High Command is condemning an incident in which a Police Constable was mowed down by a public passenger vehicle at the intersection of Trafalgar Road and Worthington Avenue on Thursday, January 23.

The governing Jamaica Labour Party, JLP, is well ahead of the opposition People’s National Party, PNP, in terms of public support.
