Embracing a steadfast dedication to community progress, Mayberry Investments Limited, a trailblazing financial institution, proudly participated in a recent award ceremony celebrating the remarkable accomplishments of the St. George's College track and field athletes.

The event, held at the St. George’s College, recognised not only the stellar performances at Champs but also applauded athletes who exhibited exceptional teamwork, sportsmanship, and unwavering dedication throughout the season.

The ceremony served as a platform to acknowledge the outstanding achievements of the athletes who represented St. George's College in various sporting competitions. Mayberry Investments Limited, an ardent supporter of youth development and sports excellence, was honoured to be a part of this momentous occasion.

“We are incredibly proud to have been a part of the St. George's College Track and Field Awards Ceremony,” stated Stephanie Harrison, Vice President of Marketing at Mayberry Investments Limited. “The dedication and tenacity exhibited by these young athletes are nothing short of inspiring. It is a testament to the potential that resides within our youth and the bright future they hold.”

Among the athletes recognised were those who demonstrated exceptional prowess on the field, displaying remarkable skills and determination. These young individuals exemplify the spirit of sportsmanship and dedication that St. George's College has always stood for.

Barry Groves, Team Manager of the St. George's College Track and Field team, passionately affirms, “The Mayberry Foundation's partnership is instrumental in our strategic mission to elevate StGC's standing as a track and field powerhouse. This collaboration opens

doors for our students, providing them with invaluable scholarship opportunities to advance their academic pursuits. The profound influence of sports on shaping and enhancing the lives of these young men cannot be overstated. Thanks to the steadfast support of the Mayberry Foundation, our track team has been able to offer crucial assistance in areas like nutrition and mentorship. This has played a pivotal role in propelling our team's growth from 12 members in 2021/22 to an astounding 45 in 2022/23, allowing us to make a positive, transformative impact on the lives of these young men.”

Grove added, “The surge of excitement stemming from the outstanding performances witnessed at the 2023 Boys and Girls Championships, coupled with the promising prospects ahead, has undeniably bolstered the morale of not only our student athletes but also the broader school community and the supportive surrounding areas. This remarkable transformation was made possible through the unwavering commitment of the Mayberry Foundation, which wholeheartedly embraced the vision of nurturing these young men into the Knights of Tomorrow—individuals poised to contribute significantly to our nation and beyond," he remarked.

Principal Margaret Campbell of St. George's School graciously echoed Groves’ sentiments stating, "For many years, Mayberry has stood as the cornerstone donor for our esteemed track and field programme. Their support, however, extends far beyond the realm of sports, with a significant emphasis on nurturing our athletes as scholars in tandem with their athletic pursuits. This has resulted in our athletes receiving invaluable academic aid, supplementing the resources dedicated to their athletic endeavours.

Campbell added, “Thanks to Mayberry, our athletes have flourished under the guidance of dedicated academic tutors, placing them on a solid educational trajectory. In addition to celebrating individual achievements, special recognition was given to those who demonstrated outstanding team morale, camaraderie, and a positive influence on their peers. These qualities are integral to building a strong foundation for future successes, both on and off the track. We extend

our deepest gratitude to Mayberry for their boundless support and their holistic commitment to the overall well-being of our students.”she touted.
