We Still have Work to Do – Minister Vaz

Minister without Portfolio in the Office of the Prime Minister and Chairman of Jamaica’s National Competitiveness Council, the Hon Daryl Vaz has welcomed the movement of four places in the recent Doing Business Report published by the World Bank.

The Government of Jamaica (GOJ) has implemented drug control measures, in keeping with the recommendations of the Multilateral Evaluation Mechanism (MEM) to tackle drug abuse and the illicit trade.

Acting head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, Senior Superintendent Gary McKenzie, said the police are now trying to locate Chad Ingram of a Central Village, St Catherine address who they suspect was driving the taxi when it veered off onto the sidewalk of Eastwood Park Road and slammed into a male and a female pedestrian.
Forty-two year old Clifton Brown, a man who is said to be the right hand lieutenant of a don based in the Mountain View area, allegedly carried his child to the doctor at a Vineyard Town medical facility, because the child's mother was not available to do so.

Gun used by robbers, hostage takers found
